Job Description

Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a highly experienced team of Sales Representatives and maximizing the team’s potential through monitoring KPIs and developing action plans. This position will handle all sales activity, manage staff and maintain a positive work environment, while keeping customer satisfaction top priority. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Role and Responsibilities (not limited to)

· Assist managers in achieving growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

· Review jobs turned in to ensure estimates are accurate and jobs are profitable.

· Accountable for the sales volume, close rate, and gross profit goals.

· Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

· Assist VP of sales with recruiting, setting objectives, coaching and performance monitoring of the sales team.

· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering and understanding needs.

· Responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of the sales team’s vehicles and any other tools needed to be successful.

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

· Responsible for in-house training, field training and weekly sales meeting.

· Work closely with sales team to design plans to ensure specific close rate, sales volume, and profitability goals are met.

· Work closely with call center to monitor and keep track status of leads, to increase closing ratios and ensure proper customer service.

· Comply with all policies and procedures of the company.

· Must use personal protective equipment, practice safe work measures to avoid accidents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

· Must have driver’s license and good driving record

· Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

· Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

· Excellent mentoring, coaching and employee management skills

· Former licensed insurance adjusters or public adjusters is a plus

· Product knowledge (roofing, siding, gutters, installation) is a plus

· Ability to analyze data and accurately process numerical data

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Social Media

· Customer service oriented

· Strong organizational skills to perform and multiple tasks

· Positive problem-solving attitude
