Position Overview:

As a Garden Center Associate at Hilltop Farms and Market, you will play a vital role in assisting customers, maintaining the garden center's appearance, and ensuring the health and well-being of our plants. We are seeking individuals who are not only knowledgeable about gardening but also physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with plant selection, gardening advice, and product recommendations.

Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the garden center.

Water, fertilize, and care for plants to ensure their health and appearance.

Assist with unloading and stocking plants and garden supplies.

Lift and carry items weighing over 50lbs as needed.

Work effectively in both hot and cold weather conditions.

Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and carry items weighing over 50lbs.

Comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions, including heat and cold.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.

Previous experience in a garden center or related field is a plus but not required.

Must be willing to work weekends
