SUMMARY

Responsible for taking orders for product and providing advice on how customers can improve business through taking advantage of promotions and various products (upselling). 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.  

Processes sales orders for product via telephone, fax, website, e-mail or in person.

Provides advice to customers on growing their business by taking advantage of Garvey Wholesale’s money saving products, promotions, or special programs

Has a thorough knowledge of the alcoholic beverages sold and keeps current with new product items as they become available so customers can be provided with the latest information and current trends.

Responsible for developing a rapport and providing excellent customer service so they can be relied upon for sound advice resulting in continuous sales.

Responsible for meeting a monthly sales quota.

Responsible for meeting a weekly cold calling quota to assist with driving new business.

Responsible for understanding and adhering all sales programs and procedures with regards to sales quotas, special incentives and promotions.

Responsible for thoroughly understanding the Apprise inventory control system so sales orders can be processed in a timely and accurate fashion.

May dispense taste samples upon customer request in accordance with policies and rules established by the Sales department of Garvey Wholesale.

Over see the other outside sale Reps for mentor and guidance.
