Gas Meter Technician Full Time • Nashville, TN

About the Role

American Energy Resources is hiring Gas Meter Technicians in the Nashville area. In this role, you will install and replace gas meters while working outdoors as part of a field technician team.

This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, mechanical tasks, and working in a team-based environment.

What You’ll Do

Install and replace gas meters.

Perform outdoor field work in varying weather conditions.

Follow all company and job site safety procedures.

Work as part of a technician team to complete daily assignments.

Maintain a professional, safety-compliant appearance.

Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.

What We’re Looking For

A valid driver’s license is required for job-related travel.

Ability to perform the essential job functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation, including physical outdoor work throughout the duration of the shift.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Mechanical aptitude is preferred but not required.
