Gatesman is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented intern to join our team this fall. Any prospective intern should be available at least three, half-day-plus periods per week. The internship can be completed for school credit. Please note that this position is unpaid.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assist the agency social team in brainstorming, drafting and posting content
• Develop a variety of PR materials, such as press releases, awards submissions and media lists
• Create social listening and media monitoring reports
• Monitor trends in client industries and flag for client teams
• Assist teams in preparation for meetings, events, etc.

SKILLS DESIRED:

• Strong writing and communication skills
• Maintain an awareness of local and national media, and the PR and Social Media business trends
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Strong initiative and desire to learn and grow professionally
