JOB SUMMARY
The Ticket Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of ticket operations for Gazelle’s line-up of college basketball and ice hockey properties. The role will also build, strengthen, and maintain relationship with group sales buyers and assist with the development of Gazelle’s marketing strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
TICKETING
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of ticket sales
· Sell group tickets
· Manage the execution of group sales experiences on game days, including but not limited to: singing the National Anthem, scrimmages on the court/ice, videoboard shout-outs, etc.
MARKETING
· Support the development and execution of Gazelle’s marketing strategy, including digital, radio, print, social media, and TV advertisements
· Market tickets to participating teams and alumni groups
· Research marketing industry happenings and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
· Self-motivated and ambitious
· Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Outstanding interpersonal skills
· Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines
· Travel is required (select event dates in November, December and March).
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Background in sales, specifically in the sports industry, is a plus
· Prior experience in event planning, sponsorship services and sports marketing is helpful
· Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, subject to certain limited exceptions
DETAILS
· Compensation: $30,000 base salary
