Job Description

Established in 2011, Gear Club Direct is the go-to store to purchase Pro Audio and DJ Equipment. We work with some of Chicago’s most popular Night Clubs, and service some of the most prominent DJs in the area as well as Nationwide.

Our company is currently seeking an outgoing, confident individual who is passionate about sales and customer service to join our staff. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can multitask and can handle a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
• Enter and process customer orders
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create sales material to present to customers
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Bilingual+ (Spanish and English)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiarity with DJ equipment 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 
• Familiarity with BigCommerce
• Familiarity with Quickbooks (Purchase Orders)
