    The Job

    As a Systems Software Engineer at GeekPlus, you'll work with our Applications, Project and R&D Engineers as well as Product Managers to customize system components for project implementation. You'll develop a solid understanding of the GeekPlus software platform and will contribute to new feature creation and influence new product development. You'll also participate in project reviews, project estimation, scheduling, execution, testing, implementation and sustaining activities. As a system software engineer you'll present to customers, managers, and colleagues and will work peer to peer with and mentor other engineers. As an empowered engineer in a team of doers, you'll be expected to manage ambiguity, handle multiple requests and wear whatever hats it takes to accomplish the task at hand.

    Qualifications

    • BS/MS in Computer Systems and Networks, Computer Science, Network Security Management
    • 3 years of experience designing and implementing network infrastructure
    • Demonstrated ability to administer cloud-based network such as AWS and Azure
    • Familiar with application server setup and maintenance
    • Debugging ability to trouble shoot network issues and analyze disconnection in multi-layer network environment
    • Practial experience in 5G is a plus
    • Knowledge in robotic wireless technology is a plus
    • Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently
    • Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment
    • Mandarin Speaking is a plus
    • Ability to travel frequently
