Job Description

Our client, a leading identity management provider located in Orange County, Southern California, is seeking talented and self-driven engineers with proven experience to enforce their DevOps team. You will be working with some of the leading engineers and technologies in the industry and helping to automate the day to date activities using state of the art technologies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• Develop standards and best practices
• Automate hardware provisioning and software installation
• Automate production deployments using Jenkins and maintain the already existing CI/CD jobs.
• Automate everyday tasks using bash, KSH script, etc.
• Optimize existing automation architecture
• Handle the application release management to production and QA environment.
• Assist QA in scaling up and changing configuration during performance tests.
• Implement TLS between application, VIP, and load-balancer.
• 25% team collaboration and architectural design

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION:

• Good knowledge of CI/CD implementation and integrating tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Git, etc with hands-on experience in creating Jenkins jobs, Ansible playbooks to perform Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing of web services and API Proxies
• Experience in building scripts for integration with Bitbucket, Code-Coverage, Selenium, Ansible, System testing, integration testing.
• Basic knowledge of API management.
• Fully aware of the tools and technologies involved with end to end CI/CD pipeline for Restful services.
• Ability to demonstrate recent/current experience of DevOps automation leveraging popular tools and technologies for end-to-end service automation

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years of experience with the above tasks
• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering is preferred

DEVELOPMENT TOOLS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Atlassian Tool Stack (JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye, Bitbucket)
• Subversion, GIT
• Agile Scrum working in 2 week aligned sprints.
• Multi-team projects - work together with other teams in the same building, or on other parts of the globe
• No travel required
