Our agency is seeking professional, motivated, and friendly sales candidates interested in advancing their insurance sales career without cold calling. GEICO advertising generates calls and leads for the GEICO Local Office in Westerville, OH. We want our agents to be successful and enjoy a long career with our agency, so we have structured a realistic compensation model and 2-week, paid training program to help you maximize your income potential with our warm leads. This office is an independent insurance agency and employment is not with GEICO.

Our agency specializes in auto and other personal insurance lines products with basic and advanced training provided. Gather information, identify customer needs, answer questions, prepare high-quality rate quotes, and close sales. Follow-up with interested or eligible customers who did not buy on their first contact.

QUALIFICATIONS: Effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer and multi-tasking skills, ability to gather information and make decisions. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment with proven dependability. Compensation includes base pay, sales production bonuses and benefits options. Bilingual Spanish a plus!

WHAT YOU WOULD DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Make sales (licensed) of auto insurance and other personal lines of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer service

• Educate clients on auto, home and renter's insurance including comparisons

• Service existing accounts and ensure customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information

• Identify cross-selling opportunities during retention calls

WHAT YOU NEED:

• P&C licensed

• Good attitude, drive for growth and willingness to help others

• Prior success in a sales role

• Up to 75% of your day may be on the phone, a high-energy personality and a love of working with people is a must

• A knack for remembering data and details

• Strong computer skills to learn and work within multiple quoting systems (must be able to type at least 40 wpm)
