Geiger Pump & Equipment is a leading supplier of critical pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, mixers, and related equipment to manufacturers and water treatment plants throughout the Mid-Atlantic. We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our growing rotating equipment team in Baltimore, MD.
The Machinist will:
Should have experience with manual lathe and manual mill and manual tools for machining tasks related to rotating equipment assembly and repair, such as trimming and balancing impellers
Gain experience and skills related to assembly and repair of pumps, blowers, vacuum pumps, mixers, and more
Work collaboratively with our experienced team to supply high quality equipment to our great customers

Minimum Qualifications:
Trade school completion or experience or training in machining
Ability to use measurement tools and read drawings
Commitment to a safe, clean working environment
Ability to follow directions and manage time
Ability to use email and electronic documents on the computer or in a scheduling app
Positive attitude and desire to learn and contribute to a team
