Job Title: Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager

Compensation: Up to $110,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Overview:
Aligned Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for a well respected company. We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join a growing team within the construction industry. This individual must bring a strong accounting foundation, demonstrated experience working directly with company financials, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is both analytical and adaptable, with a passion for process improvement and a mindset geared toward innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee detailed account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in general ledger activity.

• Conduct financial analysis to support business operations and decision-making.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance and integrity of financial data.

• Work directly with leadership to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting capabilities.

• Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.

• Assist with year-end close and liaise with external auditors or consultants as needed.

• Operate with minimal oversight; must be comfortable stepping into a fast-moving role with little formal training or onboarding.

• Heavy account reconciliation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred but not required.

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including recent experience as a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.

• Prior experience in the construction industry is required.

• Proven ability to work directly in the books and understand the full accounting picture.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

• Self-starter with a flexible, solution-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable in an evolving environment with shifting priorities.
