Job Summary

The General Assembler is responsible for assembling products and components according to work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules. This role supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring parts are assembled accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, or assembly equipment
• Follow written work instructions, diagrams, and production schedules
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform basic troubleshooting and report defects or issues to supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and material handling as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs as needed
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and use hand tools
