General Cardiologist

The Company:
Our client is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). They are partly funded by the Federal Department of Health & Human Services because their area was shown to have unmet medical needs. FQHCs were specifically created to respond to the healthcare needs of people with limited access to care because of their income, medical condition, or healthcare professional shortages.

The Position:
Our client is looking for a general cardiologist to join their provider team. They want someone who is looking to expand their knowledge and is passionate about serving the underserved population.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse patient population. This role also involves collaboration with LPNs, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to improve overall patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Outpatient (20+ Patients/day)
• 40-hour Work Week
• Call by Phone Only
• No Nights
• No Rounding
• No Weekends
• No Admitting

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Outpatient Only
• Current Louisiana Medical License Required
• 3+ Years Experience Preferred (New Grads Will Still Be Considered)
• Additional Credentials for Public Health or ID are a large plus
• eClinicalWorks EMR experience is a plus
