Position Overview

ServiceMaster has successfully served its customers for over 50 years and we believe in not only empowering people, but also in enabling them to succeed. We are seeking a detail oriented, skilled general carpenter to join our team. Carpenter is to perform repairs on our clients properties. You will be a member of a team whose objective is providing our customers with excellent customer service and high quality of work exceeding their expectations. All tasks are to be performed in a timely and consistent basis.

Job Responsibilities (tasks may include but not limited to)

Install drywall and finish

Install insulation

Finish trim/base work

Cabinet/vanity installation

Painting

Job prep by protecting customers contents

Light duty clean-up on a daily basis when job is in progress

Light post construction clean-up

Demolition when necessary

Work effectively with other team members

Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time/attendance and uniform policies

Operate and maintain equipment such as power tools

Report building and equipment issues to your supervisor

Job Qualifications

Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility

Must have ability to work independently and as a team member

Must be willing and able to work in all forms of climate indoor and out

Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs

Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling and crouching

Must be willing to work weekends as necessary or in an emergency situation

Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Wage is based on experience
