Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Counsel role located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The General Counsel will oversee all legal matters, providing expert counsel to senior management and the board of directors. Key responsibilities include managing corporate governance, contract negotiation, IP strategy, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and legal transactions. The General Counsel will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives while ensuring legal compliance and ethical practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Corporate Governance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Compliance
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, Risk Assessment, and Regulatory Law
• Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property Law and IP Portfolio Management
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar membership in good standing with eligibility to practice law in San Francisco, California
• Experience in the technology or cybersecurity sectors is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
