Responsibilities: • Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate • Identify oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, restoration, root canals, and surgical extractions • Show patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as retainers and dentures and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Inspect the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to identify any areas of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health • Assess the patient's overall dental health and look for the presence of dental diseases by thoroughly examining the patient’s teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments • Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems, including cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, and restoration • Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards, office policies and procedures, and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines Qualifications: • Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS, and NPI • Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired • A minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry • Familiarity with computers Compensation: $350,000
