    About Sola Kids Dental

    Sola Kids Dental & Orthodontics is a mission-driven pediatric dental group serving families across Los Angeles. We operate three locations in South LA with a fourth location in West Adams opening soon. Our practice primarily serves Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal patients, with a focus on children and teens, and offers general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery under one roof.

    About the Role

    We're looking for a General Dentist with pediatric experience to join our high-volume practice in South Los Angeles

    You will be scheduled Monday to Thursday and Saturdays. For exceptional candidates we will consider alternative schedules.

    This role is ideal for a provider who is confident treating children, teens and young adults, efficient with a wide range of general dentistry procedures, and comfortable practicing in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The majority of our patient population is Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal, so experience treating Medicaid patients is essential.

    What You'll Do

    • Comprehensive care : Provide comprehensive general dentistry including exams, cleanings, restorations, pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, and extractions.
    • Pediatric experience : Deliver a calm, confident, and reassuring experience for pediatric and teen patients, including behavior management for younger children.
    • Team partnership : Partner with a strong clinical support team to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
    • Coordinated care : Work alongside our orthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery providers to coordinate patient care.
    • Culture : Contribute to a culture of kindness, accountability, and excellence.

    About You

    • DDS or DMD degree
    • Licensed to practice dentistry in California
    • Active Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal credentialing (required)
    • Valid malpractice insurance
    • 2+ years of experience treating pediatric patients
    • Comfortable treating high-volume Medicaid patient populations
    • Confident with pediatric restorative work (SSCs, pulpotomies, composites on primary teeth)
    • Skilled in behavior guidance techniques for young and anxious patients
    • Comfortable managing pediatric patients without papoose boards or general anesthesia
    • Efficient, organized, and team-oriented
    • Calm, communicative, and collaborative chairside manner
    • Flexible providing care across multiple Los Angeles locations
    • Bonus: you're bilingual (English and Spanish)

    Compensation

    • Pay range : $650 to $2,000 per day
    • Structure : Competitive daily minimum plus production-based compensation
