Responsibilities: • Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, and restoration • Supervise dental assistants, dental hygienists, associate dentists, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Inspect the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to identify any areas of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health • Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines • Work alongside our dental hygienists, multi-specialty Doctors, and administrative staff in composing comprehensive treatment plans Qualifications: • A Doctor of Dental Surgery/DDS or Doctor of Dental Medicine/ DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required • Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry • Unrestricted and current state license in good standing • Familiarity with computers • A minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required • General Practice Residency (GPR) • NYS dental license • NYS resident Compensation: $240,000 - $260,000 yearly
