Responsibilities: • Conduct work that is compliant with office policies and procedures; safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines; and infection and infectious diseases control standards • Assess the patients’ overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients’ teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments • Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate • Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated • Manage dental hygienists, associate dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Work alongside our dental hygienists, multi-specialty Doctors, and administrative staff in composing comprehensive treatment plans Qualifications: • Should be computer proficient • Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills • Advanced knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is helpful • Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry • State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing • General Practice Residency (GPR) • NYS dental license • NYS resident Compensation: $240,000 - $260,000 yearly
