General Foreman - High-End Residential Construction - Base Salary to 85k/year - Pittsburgh, PA

• Our client is an established general contractor specializing in luxury residential construction, custom renovations, additions, and historic restoration projects. They are seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee field operations while providing hands-on leadership for high-end residential construction projects throughout the Pittsburgh area.
• This position is ideal for an experienced master carpenter and construction leader who takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship, can coordinate multiple trades, and is comfortable managing complex residential renovation and addition projects from layout through completion.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day field operations for luxury residential construction, renovation, addition, and historic restoration projects.
• Perform construction layout and oversee additions to existing residential properties.
• Lead carpentry crews while coordinating subcontractors and multiple construction trades.
• Interpret architectural drawings, construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain the highest standards of finish quality and craftsmanship for interior and exterior work.
• Coordinate project schedules to maintain construction timelines.
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries to support project schedules.
• Work closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues and maintain project quality.
• Monitor workmanship to ensure projects meet company quality standards and client expectations.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of carpentry and high-end residential construction experience.
• Extensive experience as a Lead Carpenter or Master Carpenter supervising field crews.
• Experience constructing luxury residential interiors, custom additions, and historic renovation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and material deliveries.
• Strong understanding of finish carpentry, framing, custom residential construction, and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Pittsburgh area.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 85k/year
