    Are you a seasoned leader with hands-on experience in utilities and civil construction? We’re hiring a General Foreman to oversee multiple field crews across dirt work, grading, underground utilities, and road-building projects.

    This is more than just a supervisory role—it’s a chance to guide, mentor, and manage teams that are shaping the region’s critical infrastructure. From earthwork and trenching to pipework and asphalt, you'll be at the center of it all.

    Road construction experience is required.
    Spanish-speaking is a plus.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead and supervise field crews across various scopes, including grading (rough/fine), excavation, trenching, underground utility installation (water, sewer, storm), and asphalt work
    • Interpret blueprints and job specifications, assign daily tasks, and ensure execution meets quality and safety standards
    • Conduct daily safety briefings and maintain a culture of safety compliance
    • Manage crew schedules, labor hours, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency
    • Monitor and report crew performance, site progress, and material usage
    • Communicate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and superintendents to coordinate site activities
    • Utilize digital reporting tools (e.g., Workforce) for documentation including daily logs, expenses, evaluations, and incident reports

    What You Bring

    • 5+ years of experience as a foreman or general foreman in heavy civil, roadwork, and utility construction
    • Proficient in earthwork operations—cut/fill, compaction, grading, and fine grading
    • Skilled in underground utility installation and road base/asphalt prep
    • Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans
    • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug/alcohol, background, MVR)
    • Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus
