Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Foreman/ Superintendent to lead on-site construction operations for complex data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This role goes beyond typical site supervision - it requires hands-on leadership, a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of field operations, high-density infrastructure installation, and fast-paced construction environments.
As the on-site leader, you will oversee daily site operations, manage subcontractors and direct work crews, and ensure all project phases are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with design specifications, schedules, and quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining project momentum, resolving field challenges in real-time, and upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Working on projects where uptime, precision, and quality are critical, you will coordinate the installation of key systems - including power distribution, generators, HVAC, and IT infrastructure - ensuring flawless execution in line with hyperscale data center requirements such as N+1 and 2N redundancy strategies, Tier III/IV standards, and demanding client specifications. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all day-to-day field activities, including overseeing subcontractors, vendors, direct labor crews, and trade disciplines across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage systems. You will enforce compliance with project plans, engineering specifications, contract documents, and ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

What you will do:
- Lead day-to-day on-site operations for large-scale hyperscale and AI data center projects, ensuring construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate multiple work crews, subcontractors, and trades (electrical, mechanical, structural, IT/communications) to ensure cohesive and timely execution of project phases.
- Drive progress and productivity by managing site resources, personnel, and material logistics while maintaining clear and proactive communication with project management teams.
- Monitor and enforce strict compliance with safety regulations (OSHA standards), quality control protocols, and environmental guidelines across all site activities.
- Oversee installation of critical infrastructure systems, including power distribution, backup generators, UPS systems, HVAC, fire life safety systems, and IT cabling infrastructure.
- Coordinate with project managers, BIM/VDC teams, and design engineers to proactively resolve field issues and ensure alignment between design intent and site execution.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and audits to verify work is completed to high standards and in accordance with project drawings, BIM models, and specifications.
- Manage and maintain detailed records of daily site activities, workforce deployment, material usage, and project milestones.
- Drive adherence to construction schedules, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and budget targets.
- Foster a positive, professional, and safety-first culture among field crews, setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable for performance and behavior on-site.
- Drive the execution of mission-critical systems including power distribution (MV/LV), standby generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), chillers, CRAC units, building management systems (BMS), and IT infrastructure, in alignment with hyperscale data center requirements.
What we expect:
- 8+ years of progressive construction site experience, including supervisory roles such as General Foreman, Superintendent, or equivalent. Experience in data centers, Commercial and/or industrial construction is a plus
- Proven success managing large, multi-trade construction projects, preferably within the data center, mission-critical, or large industrial/commercial sectors.
- Deep understanding of MEP systems, structured cabling,critical infrastructure systems, including electrical distribution (MV/LV), backup generators, UPS, HVAC, and low-voltage systems (BMS, security, IT).
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety practices (OSHA 30 certification preferred), and quality control procedures.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple subcontractors, direct labor crews, and material/equipment deliveries on fast-track construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BIM models, specifications, and project documentation.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms) and digital reporting processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building effective working relationships with field teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and solve on-site issues quickly and effectively, maintaining schedule and project objectives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in daily reporting and stakeholder updates.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to work on-site full-time.
