  • Responsibilities

    Connect Staffing, Inc. seeks a General Indexer for a long-term contract role with a top corporate employer headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. This individual will respond to customers seeking information about active and historical collections manual and automatic systems. Hourly rate up to $33.18/hr based on experience.

    Functional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for the acquisition and organization of information in paper and electronic format
    • Assisting with the circulation and distribution of documents
    • Assigning all required metadata and inputs in the appropriate format
    • Organizing and sorting original materials as needed
    • Analyzing and organizing information resources
    • Actively works with Business Units to ensure accurate submittal of contracts
    • Responding to clients’ custom queries and reporting needs
    • Creating and distributing information center reports
    • Responding to Business Unit needs
    • Delivering one-on-one training
    • Applying established access controls to information holdings.
    • Loading and indexing images in Documentum and CLM
    • Performing quality checks on scanned images
    • Indexing and sorting of new materials. Applies established access controls to information holdings
    • Support records center projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent library experience is a plus
    • Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a setting that is primarily responsible for the acquisition and organization of information
    • Data entry experience with excellent attention to detail is required
    • Capable of indexing and sorting documents or records
    • Familiarity with a digital information center, library, or records center requirements and processes is also required
    • Good organizational, human relations, and verbal communication skills are required
    • Analytical and reporting skills with MS Excel and MS Access required
