    General Summary

    The General Labor – Culinary Herbs position plays an important role in supporting the growth and quality of culinary herbs. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining herb growing areas, assisting with planting activities, and repairing field structures such as tunnels, meshes, and shade coverings.

    Essential Functions

    • Clean and maintain assigned work areas
    • Weed herb growing areas
    • Repair meshes, shades, and tunnels damaged by weather
    • Plant and transplant culinary herbs
    • Occasionally assist with ground preparation for planting
    • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food safety requirements
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    • No prior experience required

    Other Requirements

    • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
    • Must be 18 years of age or older

    Physical & Work Environment

    • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and use hands throughout the workday
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds
    • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold
