General Labor Technician
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour + overtime opportunities and on-call bonuses! The General Labor Technician position is a career in the property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for responding to emergency and property damaging situations. Our team's professional approach ensures both the property and the customer are attended to, while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and property preservation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold
Survey damage within the property
Evaluate and record damage to all items within the property
Perform cleaning process for both contents and structural damage, as needed
Removal of contents for cleaning or destruction. Pack outs and pack backs
Demolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools
Clean up assigned job sites after demolition
Perform initial site visits
Conduct moisture inspections
Set restoration equipment within guidelines
Complete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS)
Take photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the process
Responsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment
Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment
Keep equipment clean and organized in the shop
Responsible for unloading trash in assigned areas
Responsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assigned
Pass IICRC certifications as IICRC classes are offered
Assist in the development of new hires through on the job training
Hold our company’s Vision, Values, Mission and 10 Serving Basics throughout job position
All other duties as assigned
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad)
Customer Service Skills
Communication skills via phone and face to face
Computer skills
Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, MICA and additional systems as requested
Ability to create documents
Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a team
Ability to complete work on multiple jobs within the same time frame
Ability to participate in an on-call schedule
Ability to work within hazardous environments safely
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Ability to operate a company vehicle safely
Maintain a level of confidentiality
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
Customer Service experience
1 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schooling

Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
