General Laborer Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will perform a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations, including loading and unloading materials, cleaning and preparing job sites, assisting skilled workers, and following safety guidelines. This role is essential for maintaining efficient and safe work environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.

· Clean and prepare job sites (remove debris, set up tools/equipment, etc.).

· Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, welders, painters, etc.) as needed.

· Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.

· Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

· Adhere to company policies and workplace safety standards.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Previous labor or construction experience preferred, but not required.

· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to [80 lbs.].

· Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

· Dependable, punctual, and strong work ethic.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment

• Job sites may include construction zones, warehouses, oil field locations, or outdoor environments. • Work involves standing, bending, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift. • Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
