    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Laborer to help with the installation of winter boat covers. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This may include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, operating power tools, setting up temporary structures, or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Having a vehicle to meet with your team or coming in to the main hub shop is essential. You and your crew chief will complete a scheduled list of boats to be covered for the winter. Once the van is empty, the crew will return to our shop hub in New Haven to reload for the next few days installation. Looking for a south crew member who will operate between Mamaroneck to Milford. You will either meet up with your crew in the morning in the New York area to start the day's installations or ride in the van to New Haven and back.

    Responsibilities

    Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products

    Provide assistance to onsite tradespeople.

    Transport materials and equipment from one location to another

    Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment.

    Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures.

    Other manual labor tasks as required by the crew chief.

    Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair

    Qualifications

    Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods

    Strong attention to detail

    Excellent hand-eye coordination

    Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

    Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred

    Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

    Not afraid of height. Boats hauled out of water will require a ladder to access.
