Job Summary

Guardian Utilities is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team. This role involves supporting daily field and shop operations through a variety of tasks in a utility construction environment. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

Perform manual labor tasks including hand digging and heavy lifting as needed

Operate basic and powered hand tools safely and effectively

Load, unload, and handle materials both on job sites and within the shop

Flag traffic and maintain a safe work zone around active work areas

Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, and work boots at all times

Follow all company safety rules, policies, and established work procedures

Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies used on job sites

Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and project goals.

Qualifications

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods

Strong attention to detail

Excellent hand-eye coordination

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary

Valid driver's license necessary. CDL preferred.
