About the Role We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined General Laborer to assist with assembling and installing furnishings for a newly constructed hotel preparing for its grand opening. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows instructions well, and takes pride in completing tasks accurately and efficiently. This is a temporary assignment with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business needs. What You’ll Be Doing  Assemble hotel furnishings including beds, desks, dressers, chairs, shelving, and other fixtures  Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly  Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and layouts  Assist with moving, staging, and positioning furniture and materials  Inspect assembled items for quality, stability, and proper installation  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area  Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and other team members  Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures  Complete tasks within established timelines to support the hotel opening schedule Qualifications  Mechanically inclined with basic understanding of tools and assembly processes  Prior experience in general labor, furniture assembly, construction, maintenance, or similar hands-on work preferred (not required)  Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift  Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods  Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions  Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance  Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
