Foreman Position – Construction

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews and manage daily field operations for commercial and residential construction projects. The ideal candidate must be capable of reading and interpreting construction plans in full, organizing and directing their own crew, and coordinating effectively with subcontractors. This role requires strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, the ability to communicate with inspectors and ensure work complies with building codes, and a solid overall understanding of construction sequencing and site management. The foreman must maintain high standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and jobsite organization while representing the company professionally in the field.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret full construction drawings and specifications

Experience managing and directing field crews

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and best practices

Working understanding of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)

Ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors

Experience interacting with building inspectors and passing inspections

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in the field

Ability to maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and safety

Strong communication skills with project managers, clients, and team members

Knowledge of building codes and inspection processes

Ability to plan daily work activities and keep projects on schedule

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
