General Laborer

North Florida Emulsions, Inc.

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour

North Florida Emulsions, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in doing quality work, and are willing to learn.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties on roadway maintenance and construction projects.

Assist crews with loading and unloading materials and equipment.

Operate hand tools and assist with various job site tasks.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Follow all company safety procedures.

Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license preferred.

Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand, bend, and work for extended periods.

Construction or road maintenance experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right person.

Schedule

Variable hours averaging approximately 30 hours per week.

Overtime opportunities are available during busy seasons.

Some projects require travel throughout Florida and may require staying away from home for up to one week at a time.

Hotel accommodations, work-related travel expenses, and per diem are provided by the company.
