What You'll Do:
- Assist skilled tradespeople and other field personnel with a variety of construction tasks, including demolition, material handling, and general construction.
- Unload and distribute construction materials such as lumber, cement, flooring materials, and other supplies to designated areas.
- Measure, mark, and prepare work areas according to project plans, specifications, and supervisor direction.
- Prepare tools and materials for skilled workers, including mixing cement and preparing surfaces for installation.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites by removing rubble, debris, trash, and other materials.
- Dig trenches, erect scaffolding, and perform other general site preparation tasks as assigned.
- Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Direct traffic near, in, and around designated work zones as needed.
- Assist equipment operators by providing signals and helping with the alignment, movement, or positioning of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Clean and organize the jobsite at the end of each workday, ensuring materials and equipment are properly stored.
- Follow all safety procedures, supervisor instructions, and jobsite requirements.
- Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.

- Basic math skills for counting materials and taking inventory.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and as part of a team.
- Prior construction or labor experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time.
- Must have the strength, balance, coordination, and stamina necessary to perform construction work safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push or pull loads up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours per day.
- Ability to climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing approximately 40–60 pounds.
- Ability to work some Saturdays and nights when project needs require it.
