Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced attorney to join our General Liability practice in Maryland and Washington D.C. The successful candidate will work with a team of attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to clients, focusing on defense of general liability claims. Responsibilities include analyzing cases, developing litigation strategies, conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, and representing clients in court.

Requirements:
\- Jurisdiction to practice law in Maryland and/or Washington D.C.
\- 2+ years of experience in general liability defense, preferably with an insurance defense or law firm
\- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:
\- Experience with Maryland and Washington D.C. law and procedures
\- Familiarity with insurance defense and coverage issues
\- Experience with alternative dispute resolution processes
\- Certification in a relevant area of law, such as civil trial practice
