    THE ROLE:

    As part of our expansion efforts, GLS is looking for an experienced LEAD GENERATION MANAGER to help develop and execute integrated cross-channel campaigns that MEASURABLY INCREASE BRAND AWARENESS, DRIVE NEW CUSTOMER ACQUISITION AND IMPROVE CUSTOMER RETENTION in support of strategic marketing objectives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will work closely with business development and technical teams to fill the sales funnel with qualified leads belonging to targeted segments. As a member of a small team, the Lead-Gen Manager must be a flexible problem-solver who's willing to pitch in on various additional strategic and tactical marketing tasks as needed,

    This is a career-defining, ground-floor opportunity for a proactive, entrepreneurial person to help shape the future of an established European company's expansion to the US. While the primary responsibility will be to BUILD UP AND HANDLE THE DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES OF GLS' DIGITAL MARKETING PROGRAM, as part of a new Marketing department, the Lead Gen Manager will also have leeway to mold the role in line with the company's evolving needs. We are looking for someone curious, flexible and enthusiastic, who intends to grow with the company, and wants to be a disruptive force in an industry that's ripe for change!

    Job responsibilities:

    • Implement an integrated digital marketing program marketing: manage SEO efforts, increase social media engagement, develop email campaigns that drive measurable revenue, continuously optimize corporate site content, etc.
    • Help create compelling content tailored to meet specific needs and formats (social media posts, blogs, articles, email copy, presentations, press releases, etc.)
    • Develop and leverage deep understanding of industry and customer segments to continuously improve the customer experience
    • Support company branding/ rebranding efforts
    • Assist with relaunch of corporate website
    • Manage vendor/ agency staff
    • Create and deliver regular performance presentations

    Qualifications:

    • BA or BS, preferably in marketing or supply chain/ logistics-related field
    • 5-7 years' experience identifying/ attracting qualified leads and driving them into the sales funnel
    • Strong writing and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
    • Knowledge of online user experience best practices
    • Experience working with (and preferably creating) personas and target segments
    • Able to develop messaging based on customer pain points
    • 2-3 years' experience in event marketing
    • Skilled researcher
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational, critical thinking and project management skills
    • Experienced in Salesforce, Marketo, MS Office Suite, Photoshop, social media
    • Experienced in influencer marketing (preferred)
