Responsibilities
- Lead all front-of-house operations
- Serve as primary liaison between ownership and restaurant teams
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop FOH staff
- Build and maintain restaurant culture and service standards
- Manage scheduling and labor allocation
- Process payroll and oversee employee relations
- Monitor sales performance and operating expenses
- Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, and vendor relationships
- Lead pre-shift meetings and daily communications
- Partner with culinary leadership on day-to-day operations
- Manage POS and reservation systems
- Coordinate special event execution and operational planning
- Handle guest concerns, service recovery, and conflict resolution
- Support marketing, media, and promotional initiatives
- Coordinate facility maintenance and vendor services
Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of General Manager experience
- Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
- Strong P&L management experience
- Scheduling, payroll, and labor management experience
- Inventory and purchasing experience
- Vendor management experience
- Staff development and coaching experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Food safety knowledge
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
