    New Franchise Dealership seeking experienced General Manager in the Richmond area!

    MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AT A DEALERSHIP IN THIS ROLE

    The General Manager ensures high vehicle sales by assisting in desking deals, closing customer transactions, and motivating personnel. The GM will oversee the operation of the entire dealership from sales to service. They will be a leader, committed to growing the business by increasing market share and developing loyal customers.

    You will be expected to uphold high ethical standards, have excellent customer service, and create a positive sales environment. Candidate must have a successful proven track record with a consistent and stable work history.

    Responsibilities:

    Manage & oversee incoming traffic from all leads

    Assist in desking deals based on current incentives

    Assist in inventory control, ensuring a focus on aging units

    Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets

    Maintain high customer satisfaction scores

    Attend & complete regular meetings & training

    Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities

    Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of department managers

    Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance

    Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded

    Responsible for managing profitability in both the new and pre-owned vehicle departments

    Other responsibilities as needed

    Experiences:

    Must have deep used car experience

    Must have a clear understanding of the service department

    New Car dealership experience required

    Ability to attract and retain talent

    Customer-facing engagement management style

    Track record of success as a Salesperson Sales Manager and Finance producer

    Expert time and task management skills

    Strong emotional control and ability to influence others to produce better results

    Views position with empathy compassion and the desire to succeed
