    General Manager — BODY20®

    Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 base + bonus (Total OTE $60,000–$72,000) Schedule: Full-Time (40+ hours/week)

BODY20® is revolutionizing fitness with Electro-Muscle Stimulation (EMS) technology — offering a full-body workout in just 20 minutes. We’re on a mission to help people unlock their full potential — and we’re looking for a General Manager to lead our studio team, drive business growth, and deliver an exceptional member experience.

    About the Role: General Manager

As the General Manager, you are responsible for the overall performance of the studio. You will lead a high-performing team, drive revenue and membership growth, manage daily operations, and ensure BODY20®'s brand standards are consistently delivered.

This role is hands-on, sales-focused, and community-driven — ideal for someone passionate about fitness, business development, leadership, and personal accountability.

You’ll serve as the primary driver of sales and retention, actively building a strong membership base through lead generation, networking, and exceptional service. You will also create and sustain an inspiring studio culture where both employees and members feel motivated, connected, and empowered.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales & Membership Growth

Personally drive membership sales and conversions through lead management, consultations, and relationship building.

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals — including membership sales, retail sales, and retention.

Lead and coach the team on effective sales processes, lead nurturing, and delivering compelling in-studio experiences.

Create, manage, and execute local marketing plans, community events, and outreach strategies to drive consistent organic lead flow.

Develop strategic partnerships with local businesses, wellness providers, and influencers to expand brand reach.

    Leadership & Team Development

Hire, train, develop, and retain a team of Sales Associates and Coaches who embody the BODY20® mission.

Foster a high-performance culture that focuses on collaboration, accountability, positivity, and continuous growth.

Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching sessions to drive team development and engagement.

Lead by example in all aspects — from daily lead follow-up to member engagement to representing the brand locally.

    Operations & Studio Management

Oversee daily studio operations including scheduling, payroll, inventory, member service, equipment management, and facility cleanliness.

Ensure an exceptional member experience through smooth check-ins, personalized service, issue resolution, and consistent communication.

Manage studio P&L performance, budgeting, reporting, and expense control to meet financial goals.

Maintain compliance with BODY20® operational standards, policies, and studio systems

    Member Experience & Community Building

Build a thriving studio community by engaging with members, celebrating milestones, and creating a strong sense of belonging.

Organize and host events, workshops, and local initiatives to strengthen client relationships and enhance brand loyalty.

Develop referral strategies and loyalty programs to maximize retention and organic growth.

    Qualifications:

2+ years of management experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing industry (Boutique Fitness strongly preferred).

2+ years of proven sales leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to hit and exceed goals.

Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Passion for health, wellness, fitness, and helping others transform their lives.

Entrepreneurial spirit with a results-driven, proactive approach.

Proficiency in CRM, POS, and studio management software systems (preferred).

    What Success Looks Like:

Consistently meeting or exceeding studio sales, revenue, and retention goals.

Building a strong, motivated team that delivers an exceptional member experience.

Creating a vibrant community that members are excited to be a part of.

Growing the BODY20® brand presence in the local market through grassroots marketing and partnerships.

Maintaining a high standard of operational excellence across all studio functions.
