General Manager Location: Southlake, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 (Based on Experience) + Revenue & Profitability Bonuses
Energize a young, high-potential custom glass company in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that's outgrowing its current setup. As General Manager, you'll be the field-driven leader who hits the pavement daily, coordinating projects hands-on, managing teams on-site, and keeping operations smooth to crush inefficiencies and fuel rapid growth. Forget the desk job. This is for action-oriented pros specializing in shower doors, mirrors, windows, and custom installs, delivering top-tier service to homeowners, contractors, and businesses while staying in the mix. While P&L support is available internally, you'll focus on driving daily execution and team momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Lead from the front: Hands-on coaching for our small team of installers, fabricators, and support staff. Tackle issues in real-time on job sites to build momentum and squash productivity roadblocks like disjointed project flow.
Command project coordination: Allocate resources, hit timelines, trim costs, and step in directly to keep every install on track, easing the load on internal project management.
Own daily ops in the field: Troubleshoot challenges as they arise, streamline workflows from quote to close-out, and roll out practical fixes to ditch outdated processes.
Forge client and vendor ties on the move, network locally to snag deals and open doors.
Monitor budgets and KPIs while out in the field; support lean tweaks for better margins with internal P&L guidance.
Champion safety, quality, and compliance every step of the way.
Qualifications
5-10 years in sales, operations, or project management (glass, construction, or home services), with proven hands-on team leadership.
Strong daily ops know-how for small teams: Focus on execution, timelines, and efficiency in fast-paced environments (P&L experience helpful but not required).
Street-smart project coordination: Excel at getting in the trenches to deliver on time and under budget, fixing problems proactively rather than from afar.
Sharp communication to rally teams, charm clients, and sync partners, all while engaging on-site.
Familiarity with project tools, business software, and Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's license and ready for local travel (this role lives on the road).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or equivalent hustle (preferred).
Must pass background check and drug test.
Benefits
Health and dental insurance.
Paid time off (PTO).
No more office-bound strategizing. We need a pavement-pounder who's energized by the grind and ready to scale with us, handling daily management while we support the financial side.
