    General Manager – Service Operations

    Location: Charlotte, NC Compensation: $150K–$180K Base + 25% Bonus

    We are seeking a high-impact General Manager to lead and grow a $15M service operation in the Charlotte market. This role is responsible for full P&L ownership, operational excellence, and building a high-performing, customer-focused team in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

    This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on driving revenue, developing people, and scaling operations.

    What You’ll Do

    Own full P&L responsibility for a multi-division service operation (sales, service, and installation)

    Develop and execute annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic growth plans

    Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion through new programs and initiatives

    Build and foster a culture of accountability, performance, and exceptional customer experience

    Lead, coach, and develop a team of 60–70 employees, including field and office staff

    Ensure consistent execution of company policies, processes, and operational standards

    Analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective action plans quickly

    Partner with field leadership to optimize safety, sales performance, and operational efficiency

    Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, and performance management across the organization

    Maintain strong awareness of market trends and competitors to stay ahead in the industry

    Leadership Responsibilities

    Direct oversight of management staff and team performance

    Set clear expectations, assign priorities, and drive accountability across all functions

    Conduct performance reviews, compensation planning, and employee development initiatives

    Build a collaborative, cross-functional team environment

    Health & Safety Leadership

    Champion a safety-first culture across all operations

    Ensure compliance with all safety programs, training, and regulatory requirements

    Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions

    Conduct regular training sessions and safety meetings

    What We’re Looking For

    5+ years of experience leading teams in a B2C and/or B2B service environment

    Proven success managing and growing a fast-paced service-based business

    Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, or skilled trades operations

    Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability goals

    Experience managing mid-sized teams (50+ employees) preferred

    Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
