    Summary: Directs and provides leadership for operational, administrative, and financial performance activities of the manufacturing solutions and the departments therein. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Manufacturing, Quality Management, Engineering, and Sales to ensure desired business composition, operational suitability, and sustainability.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Direct the work of all employees in the facility to achieve the required quantity and quality of equipment repair services to customers.

    • Recommend and implement the best organizational structure for the facility to achieve the desired results as indicated by budgeted expectations from Management.

    • Ensure that all necessary training, work methods, procedures, tools, supplies, documentation, and equipment are provided to satisfactorily perform all work functions in the facility.

    • Study and determine the most efficient facility layouts within given constraints and make effective job assignments based on available skills to achieve required output.

    • Manage all resources to achieve required turnaround times and expected financial performance, including labor requirements, job assignments, and work schedules.

    • Recommend and implement continual improvements in technology, processes, procedures, and methods in the workplace.

    • Assist in budget preparation and organizational planning for the manufacturing.

    • Monitor and control facility costs and financial (P&L) performance.

    • Work cooperatively and in support of the product business. This will include Sales, Product Management, and Product Development (forecasting, design innovation, and manufacturability).

    • Meet regularly with Group Leaders regarding work performance, encouraging input and giving feedback.

    • Provide regular operational and administrative reports to Management as required.

    • Provide input to Senior Management on strategic planning, personnel policies, financial matters, etc., for the facility as it relates to company objectives.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises up to 10 employees with overarching responsibility for all employees within the manufacturing facility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
