We are a rapidly scaling brand and are looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive General Manager to lead our Central New Jersey location (Central NJ, Bucks County PA and Montgomery County PA). Our growing team is in need of a leader to successfully launch and support our growing business. The Central New Jersey location offers the following parking lot services:
Asphalt crack filling / repair
Asphalt pothole repair
Asphalt sealcoating
Line striping (exterior and interior)
Job brief
We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and reviewing proposals, maintaining accurate data in our HubSpot CRM, and managing the procurement of equipment and supplies. To be successful in this role, you should be a good communicator, comfortable working with a computer, a problem solver, and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our business is growing.
Responsibilities
Generate Proposals: Develop comprehensive service proposals that meet client needs and align with company capabilities
Review Proposals with Customers: Engage with clients to discuss and refine proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with their expectations
Maintain HubSpot CRM Data: Keep all client and prospect data up-to-date in the HubSpot CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of customer interactions and sales pipeline status.
Order Equipment and Supplies: Manage relationships with vendors to procure necessary equipment and supplies efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensure that all procurement activities align with company budgets and operational requirements
Collaborate with ownership to manage the budget / financials of the company
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
Prepare regular reports for ownership and provide recommendations on improvement opportunities
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role (ideally in a construction, landscaping, or similar environment)
Background in building and maintaining client relationships
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to strategize and solve problems effectively
Willingness to jump in and help the crew (if needed early one, phased out overtime)
Understanding how to user CRM systems (knowledge of HubSpot is preferred but not required)
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Business or other field
