    EverLine Coatings and Services is the premier line painting and pavement maintenance company with locations across the US and Canada. EverLine of Southeastern MA & Cape Cod is a franchisee providing high-quality line striping and pavement maintenance services primarily for commercial parking lots, parking garages, and warehouses. In addition to line striping services, we offer a comprehensive suite of asphalt repair and maintenance services, including infrared repair, crack-filling, and sealcoating.

    Job Summary

    This is a Full-Time Salaried Position.

    We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, reliable, and proactive General Manager to assist in building a rapidly growing asphalt repair and maintenance franchise throughout Southeastern MA & Cape Cod. As the General Manager, you will oversee all the end-to-end functions of the business, including marketing, sales, human resources, accounting and operations. All team members will report to you, and you will report directly to Ownership. The ideal candidate is someone who already “acts like an Owner” and is excited by the potential to be a true Operating Partner to Ownership.

    The General Manager will oversee all staff, budgets, and operational execution of the local business unit. To be successful in this role, you should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, have excellent communication skills, and be a precise operator. Our General Manager will have an ever-present desire to deliver excellent results to our clients and encourage the development of our team members while ensuring that profits are on the rise. You will play a key role in growing the business and helping it thrive, with a compensation package aligned with those goals. Base pay $65k-$85k depending on experience in addition to performance bonus potential.

    Responsibilities:

    Oversee all functions of the business and execute the franchise system playbook

    Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance

    Prepare regular reports for Ownership and provide solutions to issues (i.e. sales hurdles, operational mishaps, employee conflicts, competitor analysis, etc.)

    Drive recruitment and training of new team members and direct employee assessments

    Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally while following all health and safety regulations

    Collaborate with Ownership in setting strategy and goals for growth

    Maintain budgets and optimize expenses

    Direct data collection to track metrics related to financial performance, productivity targets, costs structure, errors elimination, and delivering excellent customer service

    Manage all policies, processes and procedures with an eye towards long-term improvement and efficiency gains for enhanced profitability and client retention

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    Entrepreneurially focused mindset with exceptional communication skills

    Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

    Proven track record as a General Manager or similar management role

    Experience in planning and budgeting, and managing a P&L accordingly

    Knowledge of a variety of business processes and functions (HR, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) and the ability to master a suite of business productivity software

    Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude

    Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service delivery

    Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation practices

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    Experience in commercial B-to-B services, even better if within a franchise system

    Construction, paving, line striping, sealcoating, concrete or epoxy flooring experience

    An educational background in Construction Management or Engineering is an asset

    Ability to communicate in more than one language is a big plus

    Past experience with small engines like lawnmowers and/or paint sprayers is helpful
