The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement, and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter who understands the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork. • Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand and company standards. • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. • Lead staff training meetings and ensure operational checklists and safety protocols are followed. • Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance. Qualifications: • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 yearly
