    Premiere upscale health club is seeking hospitality driven manager who provide superior customer service with the drive to be the best! This role will ensure the financial growth and sales performance of the club by overseeing all aspects of the sales operations. The role is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the entire Health and Fitness Center as well as insuring the execution and inspection of all sales operations including the activities of the Sales Leadership and Fitness Advisors and supporting all departments. Manage and participate in all sales related functions including involvement when required in additional prospecting, staff training and new members sales.

    In addition, the Club Manager is responsible for all Membership activities insuring and achieving strong membership satisfaction scores and high levels of Member Retention.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Support and Develop the Health and Fitness Center to exceed the expectations of its members through the care and enhancements of 100% of the Facility

    The General Manager is responsible for all departments and Staff meeting their goals and achieving high levels of Member satisfaction

    Work with Sales Leadership Team as well as personally to be always seeking new and existing memberships to exceed sales goals and be involved with outside sales opportunities

    Be relentlessly focused on Member Retention and personally address any member’s issues

    Report and communicate daily with regional team leaders on overall Club and Sales activity

    Involved with Sales Leadership Team in the daily sales meetings to discuss performance and objectives with club team

    Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining staff

    Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new team member

    Ensure club meets all standards for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety

    Direct and help manage other departments within the club

    Attend all staff and club meetings and events

    Establish and maintain professional relationships with staff

    Maintain and update sales policies and procedures

    Always know and be aware of club revenues and goals

    Ensures that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.

    Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.

    Perform other duties and assignments as necessary or required

    Help support and grow all departments in the facility

    Expectations:

    Present a professional Leadership demeanor at all times

    Provide input in developing strategies to support goals and objectives

    Recommend staff development/education activities

    Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and departments

    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints

    Job Requirements:

    Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays

    Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date

    Ability to work well and lead others

    Experience in cash handling and credit cards

    Customer service abilities

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand for long periods of time

    Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

    Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
