    LinGate Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Nashville-Opryland. The General Manager is responsible for achieving optimal guest satisfaction, ensuring a positive working environment, profitability of the hotel, and attaining all set corporate and brand objectives. The General Manager should run the hotel in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Policies as set out by the company and the brand. The General Manager shall see to the implementation of optimal and attractive products and services required to attract target groups based on marketing plans and budgets. The General Manager ensures the correct product distribution and revenue management to achieve revenue goals.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop, initiate, and monitor operating and sales plans for revenue generation

    Develop and implement cost-saving measures

    Forecast occupancy and appropriate staffing levels

    Maintain proper cash control procedures and accounting records

    Administration of receivables and payables

    Prepare relevant financial and operating reports

    Manage guest complaints and resolve issues

    Recruit, train, and retain quality employees

    Lead various internal and external meetings

    Supervise employee levels and abide by all legal requirements

    Maintain contacts with public authorities

    Qualifications:

    Experience as a General Manager

    Knowledge of business practices, including but not limited to: operations, sales, accounting, human resources, and food and beverage.

    Ability to analyze and benchmark revenue and expenses

    Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve high standards

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently

    Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments

    Interpersonal communication skills with a specific history of resolving complex issues
