Job Title: General Manager
Reports to: Regional Manager

Mission: We help children ages 4 months to 12 years learn to swim and be safer in and around the water through a fun, proven curriculum in a warm, nurturing environment while serving as a trusted pillar in our community.

This role requires someone who can balance people, performance, systems, and service while leading with integrity and ownership. This role is not for someone looking to simply manage shifts. We are looking for leaders who develop people, solve problems proactively, and elevate the culture around them.
Leadership, Culture, and Team Development:
Build and maintain a positive, accountable culture
Coach and develop future leaders
Lead with professionalism, consistency, and ownership
Align the team around school goals and expectations
Hire, onboard, and train high-quality staff
Operations:
Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, and customer experience
Ensure all safety and operational standards are executed consistently
Maintain strong execution of Goldfish systems
Manage facility and vendor needs proactively
Sales and Growth:
Support enrollment growth and retention goals
Coach sales and service conversations
Build strong relationships with families and the local community
Partner on marketing and operational initiatives
Qualifications:
3+ years of leadership or management experience preferred
Strong communication and coaching skills
Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
Able to balance leadership, operational execution, customer experience, and team development in a fast-paced environment.
Aquatics experience preferred
Leadership and value alignment are critical

Certifications:
Must attain Lifeguard certification, Goldfish Swim Instructor certification, and CPO within 90 Days of employment
Work Environment:
While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
