The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter who understands the position requires 24-hour availability. Responsibilities: • Conduct daily check-ins with department teams and lead training meetings to uphold service standards. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team. • Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand and company standards. • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. Qualifications: • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
