A leading marine, boating, and yacht products distributor is seeking an experienced General Manager to run retail store operations, counter sales staff, marine parts inventory, and warehouse/logistics inside a combined retail–distribution facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead retail store operations and manage counter sales associates
- Oversee marine parts inventory, stocking, receiving, and order fulfillment
- Ensure excellent customer service and product support
- Maintain retail merchandising, pricing accuracy, and front-of-house organization
- Improve warehouse workflow, logistics, and daily operational efficiency
- Train, coach, and schedule team members
- Ensure safety and compliance across retail and warehouse areas
Required Experience
- Marine retail, marine parts, or marine distribution experience REQUIRED
(marine hardware, boating accessories, coatings, electronics, rigging, engine parts, or related products) - Leadership in retail operations, marine parts counters, or warehouse/distribution
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Sales knowledge preferred, not required
