We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused General Manager to lead our team, run day-to-day operations, and bring the Melty experience to life in a fun, fast-paced environment.

    Position Summary

    The General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest experience, team leadership, financial performance, and operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to execute company standards with minimal oversight. The GM leads by example and ensures all team members consistently meet performance and service expectations.

    Compensation

    Competitive base salary based on experience

    Bi-Weekly Gas Allowance

    Scope of Responsibility

    Oversees 1 Melty locations with approximately 8 – 12 employees per location

    Accountable for sales performance, labor, food cost, and guest satisfaction across both units

    Supported by Ownership and Operations with established systems, training and brand standards

    Guest Experience & Brand Standards

    Deliver a consistently high-quality food and guest experience that drives total guest satisfaction

    Address guest feedback promptly and professionally, resolving concerns before they escalate

    Ensure the restaurant consistently meets or exceeds company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness

    Effectively manage labor to meet budget goals while maintaining service excellence

    Team Leadership, Training & Development

    Coach, evaluate, and hold team members accountable using clearly communicated performance standards

    Develop high-potential employees and prepare them for advancement

    Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline, including shift leaders and assistant managers

    Business & Financial Management

    Drive profitability through effective cost control, labor management, and operational execution

    Oversee inventory ordering, invoice management, inventory counts, and data entry

    Create and manage weekly staffing schedules and adjust labor as business needs change

    Compliance, Safety & Ethics

    Ensure all business practices comply with company policies and federal, state, and local laws

    Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health standards

    Ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, cash, and company assets

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    College degree preferred

    Experience

    3–5 years of management experience, preferably in restaurant, quick-service, or fast-casual environments

    Skills & Abilities

    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

    Bilingual skills strongly preferred

    Certifications

    Food Handler’s Permit (required or ability to obtain)

    ServSafe® certification (required or willingness to obtain)

    Transportation & Availability

    Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance

    Must have a phone for team communication

    Accessible as needed to support restaurant operations; maintains an open-door policy

    Schedule Requirements

    Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week

    Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

    Locations operate within Mall hours, including nights and weekends
